ZaoZoo eco books for kids gently encourage children to look after the world and all its inhabitants, no matter how small they are... After all, insects do most of the dirty work on our planet, so where would we big critters be without them?
Lisa Noble's first picture book, A Washing Line Spider, is inspired by the daring and curious critters who often hitch an accidental lift into her home, hidden in the dry washing. After they've had their fun, leaping out and scaring unwary washing-folders, they are carefully transported back where they belong, weaving their webs amongst the pegs on the washing line.
ZaoZoo books are extensively tested on live human children, and Lisa's son Zao has personally approved A Washing Line Spider as "A-1 quality" and given it a gold star.
ZaoZoo books are printed digitally by Astra Print in Wellington, using papers and inks with the best environmental profile available. Book owners are also asked to pass on their book to others, to increase its lifespan... and also because it's just a nice thing to do. |
